[Recipe] Easy Chocolate Brownie


Sudden crave for chocolate cake last night while watching TLC





Digged out the ingredients immediately

 

Waited 20 minutes for this handsome Mr. Brownie


[Recipe] Easy Chocolate Brownie

Ingredients:

50gm   Chopped nuts ( Hazenut/Walnut/Pecan)
75gm   Cake Flour
4 gm    Baking Powder
120gm Chopped Bitter Sweet Chocolate
90gm   Unsalted Butter
90gm   Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
20gm   Brandy
30gm   Milk

Methods:
  1. Cut the nuts roughly.
  2. Preheat oven to 170 degrees celcius and adjust the oven rack to middle position.
  3. Grease and flour the 5 by 5- inch cake pan.
  4. Sift the flour and baking powder.
  5. Place the chopped chocolate and butter into a heat proof bowl and microwave for 1 and half mins until melted.
  6. Add in brown sugar in 2 batches and mix well using egg beater.
  7. Beat the egg slightly in another bowl and add it into the chocolate butter sugar mixture. Mix well.
  8. Add in the flour+baking powder, mix well using egg beater. ( Do not overbeat)
  9. Add in brandy and milk, mix well using egg beater.
  10. Lastly, fold in chopped nuts using rubber spatula.
  11. Transfer the batter to the prepared cake pan.
  12. Bake untill a wooden skewer inserted into the center of the center comes out clean, about 15 to 25 minutes.
  13. Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes and remove the cake from the pan , cool on the wire rack. Ready to serve.
