Ingredients:
2.3L water
150g sugar
60ml fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 black tea bags ( I used Lipton Tea Bag)
Methods:
- Bring 2.3L of water to a rolling boil. Remove from heat.
- Drop the two tea bags into the water. Cover with a lid and allow steeping for at least 1 hour. (* Do Not stir or squeezed the tea bag )
- Remove the tea bags and add the sugar and lemon juice. Stir until the sugar completely dissolves.
- Pour tea into a jug and add ice cubes until the volume has returned to 2.3 L.
- Refrigerate until completely chilled (at least 4 hours) before serving.
