[Recipe] Cantonese Pumpkin Barley Soup

Ingredients:
1/2 Small Pumpkin
1 Carrot
4 Dried Figs
600gm Pork Cubes ( may use pork ribs )
200gm Barley
1.8 L Water

Methods:
  1. Peel and cut the pumpkin and carrot into 3cm cubes. Cut open the fig into 2.
  2. Boiled a pot of water, add in the pork. Cooked for 30 second and take out. Rinse off the grease on the pork.
  3. Add in pumpkin, carrot, dried figs, barley and water into a clean soup pot. Boiled it using high heat, add in the pork when the soup is boiling.
  4. Boiled it for 1 hour using low heat.
  5. May add in pinch of salt to taste. Done!
