Self-rising flour has been widely available in the market in Singapore and Malaysia but somehow I do not see it in the market here (Shanghai). I have been thinking to try the chocolate cake recipe using self raising flour so here is the method I found online.If you don't have any on hand, or just prefer not to buy it, you can make your own. It's very easy.
To make one cup of self-rising flour:
•1 cup of all-purpose flour
•1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
•1/2 teaspoon of salt
Sift together.
